17 July - Friday

Britain wakes to “hot but not fun hot” conditions, with the south hitting around 31–32°C and the north pretending it’s autumn again. Commuters in London will enjoy the traditional morning game of “Is this sweat or am I dying?” as temperatures hover around 32°C. 
Expect dry skies everywhere except the far southeast, where the weather may attempt a thundery tantrum before giving up. 

18 July – Saturday

A classic British weekend: warmish, cloudy, and sprinkled with rain so light it’s basically atmospheric sarcasm. Highs around 19°C in many places, with the south still clinging to the last shreds of heatwave bravado. 
Perfect conditions for saying “We’ll still have the barbecue” and then eating indoors.

19 July – Sunday

More cloud, more tiny pointless rain, more Brits insisting “It’s actually quite nice once you’re out in it.” Highs around 19°C again, with the nation’s collective mood matching the sky: grey but resigned. 

20 July – Monday

Temperatures around 19–20°C, with the last remnants of the heatwave packing their bags and heading back to wherever oppressive humidity lives. A few spots of rain drift southwards, like a bored teenager told to tidy their room. 

21 July – Tuesday

Still hovering around 19°C, still lightly drizzly, still the kind of weather where you take a jacket “just in case” and then carry it all day like a burden from your past. Coastal areas get the best of it with highs around 21°C and no rain, ideal for staring at the sea and contemplating your life choices. 

22 July – Wednesday

The UK continues its commitment to being meteorologically beige. Warmish, dryish, cloudyish. The sort of day where the Met Office issues a statement that essentially reads: “Yeah, this is it.”

23 July – Thursday

The weather pattern stays steady: cooler than the heatwave, mostly dry, and aggressively average. The north remains mild, the south remains slightly warmer, and everyone remains slightly disappointed.
