Classic British April: the sky can’t commit. It’s like the weather equivalent of someone saying “I might pop round later” and then never showing up. Sunshine will appear briefly, just long enough for you to hang washing out, before the heavens shout “PSYCH.”

Heavy rain, 10°C  
A full‑blown deluge. The kind of rain that makes you question why we even bother having outdoor spaces. Perfect for staying inside, doom‑scrolling, and muttering “bloody typical” every 20 minutes.



Monday 13 April
Cloudy with drizzle, 11°C  
The week begins with a grey, featureless sky that resembles a damp tea towel. Not quite raining, not quite dry just a moist, atmospheric shrug. Ideal conditions for forgetting what day it is.



Tuesday 14 April
Partly sunny, 13°C  
A rare moment of joy as the sun peeks out like a shy celebrity avoiding paparazzi. People will immediately overreact by wearing shorts, buying ice creams, and pretending it’s spring. This will last approximately 45 minutes before clouds return to restore order.



Wednesday 15 April
Windy with showers, 12°C  
A blustery day where umbrellas become temporary kites and bin lids achieve low‑orbit flight. Rain will arrive sideways, because vertical rain is for countries with dignity.



Thursday 16 April
Bright spells, 14°C  
The week ends on a high note  or at least a medium note with some sunshine breaking through. You’ll briefly believe the weather might be turning a corner, before remembering this is Britain and hope is a trap.
