Navigating The Deepfake Decade.

Have you ever tried to spot a fake video online? That stuff is harder than finding a vegan option at a barbecue. You're sitting there squinting like, ‘Is that real? Is that CGI? Is that deepfake? Or is that just my cousin with a Snapchat filter and too much ambition?’

However there’s one surefire way to know it’s fake. If you see Donald Trump talking like he just graduated from Harvard with a degree in Empathy and Logic? FAKE. That isn’t real. That’s AI. That’s Pixar. That’s Disneylevel illusion right there!

And all other politicians? If you see a politician speaking with honesty, clarity, and remorse? You better call NASA, because we just found intelligent life on Earth. That isn’t politics, that’s science fiction. That’s Star Trek diplomacy. That’s Obi-Wan Kenobi in a suit.

I saw one video where a minister said, ‘I take full responsibility.’ I said, ‘Oh hell no. That’s a hologram. that can’t be real!’

We live in a world where your toaster has Wi-Fi, your fridge judges your snack choices, and your phone knows you better than your mum. But politicians still talk like they reading from a script written by a drunk squirrel.

So the next time you see a video and think, ‘Wow, that politician sounds sincere,’ just remember: if it walks like a lie, talks like a lie, and votes like a lie it’s probably a lie. Or a deepfake. Or both. Welcome to 2026 !"
